Engage in Mentoring

Welcome! The NAVBO Mentor Match Program reflects our commitment to you and your professional development. This unique program takes an online networking approach through utilizing a new career development tool that will help you find, connect, and share experiences with others. The Mentor Match Program also has international capabilities; your mentor or mentee can be in the same city or on the other side of the world! To apply to our Mentor Match Program, complete these four simple steps:

1. START

Complete your profile within the NAVBO’s online community – the Vascular Network. Confirm that your contact information is up to date, add a recent professional profile picture, expand your bio, and complete your education and job history information. Education and job history may be imported from LinkedIn. A complete and accurate profile is crucial to the success of selection and matching.

2. ENROLL

Are you looking to be a mentor or mentee? Perhaps both? In order to request a mentor or mentee, you must be enrolled in the program! To enroll click the appropriate link:

  •   Enroll as a Mentor
  •   Enroll as a Mentee

Make selections for each of the program demographics which include: topics, venue, specialties, career stage and start/end date. Please note that some fields are required for enrollment. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to make the best match.

Membership Requirements: Mentors must be NAVBO Members. Nonmember mentees may be granted special access; if you are not a NAVBO member, but would like to enroll as a Mentee, please send a request to Bernadette Englert (bernadette@navbo.org) to be given access to this program.

If you are a student and eligible for our Advancing Young Voices through Diversity and Inclusion, join NAVBO through that program and you will have access to this mentoring program.
